The quaint hamlet of Farmingville will be bustling Sunday, June 9 for the 8th annual Farmingville Street Fair.

The streets will be filled with thousands of visitors for shopping, live music, classic car show, bounce houses for kids, beer garden and food.

The fair is hosted by the Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce and attracts hundreds of vendors selling everything from crafts, toys, jewelry, clothing, and accessories.

."We have grown to be one of the most talked-about street fairs in the eight years we have been doing this event," said Director of Membership Marisa Pizza.

"Farmingville's fair features a large variety of vendors on Portion Road. It's the main County road, so it's impossible to miss our fair. We have thousands of attendees," she continued.

Vendors can still register here.

There are many reasons to visit Farmingville, Pizza added.

"Our town features one of, if not the oldest, schoolhouse on its original foundation in Suffolk County, dating back to 1850. We have a wonderful community, and welcome everyone to our fair."

There will be a reserved section for classic cars in the north parking lot of Faith of God's Word Ministry. There will be judging and awards.

An inaugural Chalk Up competition is open to artists and families.
